“Love Another Mother” - Mama Imara

Uganda has one of the world's highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the world, and Mama Imara is working to rectify that. Mama Imara supports the Amani Family Centre in Kanyogoga slum, Kampala. Amani offers evidence based midwifery practices to ensure mothers in the area get the best possible care. Since the clinic opened, the team there have not lost a mother or baby during the course of their care.

When we consider the maternal health status in the region, Amani and Mama Imara are a part of amazing miracles each.
